Theme: Anaesthesia, intensivecare and pain management in Africa : Present and future

Subthemes: Palliative care, geriatric anaesthesia, hiv/aids, traditional medicine, Safe Surgery.

Besides what promises to be an outstanding scientific programme we will also provide an exciting social programme.

Before and after the congress there will be oportunities to travel into the African hinterland or the sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean,view East African wildlife and especially the great wildebeest migration is an experience not to be missed!
